Design & Installation
We begin with a survey, then plan lighting for exits, escape routes and any high-risk areas. The design uses illuminated exit signs and maintained or non-maintained fittings as appropriate for the building.
Testing & Certification
A short function test is needed monthly, alongside an annual test for the full rated duration. We carry out those checks, document the findings and issue certificates, leaving you with records to show inspectors or insurers.
Upgrades & Repairs
If your system has failing batteries, damaged fittings or equipment that needs updating, we can repair it or arrange an upgrade. This includes replacing older lights with long-life LED fittings to reduce running and maintenance costs.
Maintenance Packages
Keep routine checks together with one of our electrical maintenance packages, which include regular emergency lighting tests alongside EICRs, PAT and lighting checks.

Does my business need emergency lighting?
Your fire risk assessment establishes the emergency lighting needed for the premises. In most commercial buildings, it provides illumination along escape routes if the mains supply fails. We can help design and install a system suited to those requirements.
How often should emergency lighting be tested?
Plan a brief functional check each month and a test for the full rated duration annually. Keep the results in the system’s logbook so there is a record of its performance and any faults.
Can you test and maintain an existing system?
Yes. We can look after the system already in place, carrying out tests, maintenance and repairs. Regular visits can be included in a maintenance package to help keep the checks on schedule.
