Phones, computers and other appliances soon fill the available sockets in a home designed for fewer devices. Extra socket outlets or a suitable new circuit can make the layout more practical. They also reduce reliance on trailing leads and adaptors, which can create hazards if overloaded or misused.

Extra Sockets
Choose the connections that suit each room: double sockets, USB and USB-C sockets, floor sockets or TV points. We can position them where you need them and conceal the cables by chasing them into the walls.
New Circuits

Do I need a new circuit or just extra sockets?
We may be able to extend an existing circuit for additional sockets. Appliances with higher electrical demand, such as showers, ovens or EV chargers, need a supply designed for their load and may require a dedicated circuit. After checking your installation, we’ll advise on a suitable approach.
Will adding a circuit need certification?
Part P of the Building Regulations makes new domestic circuits notifiable work. Our service includes testing, certification and notifying building control on your behalf.
Can you add sockets without damaging my decor?
We use routes beneath floors and through existing voids where access allows, helping limit disruption to decoration. Once the work is complete, we leave the area clean and tidy.
How do I know I'm making the right choice in choosing EMAY Electrical?
